Carmichael’s Monkshood (Aconitum carmichaelii) is in the Ranunculaceae family of herbaceous perennial ranunculus. It is also called Chinese Wolfsbane, Blue Rocket, and Queen of Poisons. It is extremely toxic.

It is found in the Northern Hemisphere and grows to 50-150 centimetres tall (20-59 inches). 

The blue-purple flowers are in bloom from July to October.
