The leaf of the deciduous Californian Sycamore tree (Platanus racemosa) is serrated (saw-like) with three to five lobes. It grows to 10-17 centimetres (4-7 inches). The leaf is light-green with prominent veins extending to their pointed tip. In the fall (autumn), it gradually turns yellow, then brown.
