Parsley (Petroselinum crispum) is a flowering plant in the Apiaceae family, native to Mediterranean countries.
It is characterized by its bright green leaves – Curly Leaf Parsley, Flat Leaf Parsley or Root Parsley – that form rosettes. Its stems are about 75 centimetres (30 inches) tall.
