The Red Powder Puff (Calliandra haematocephala) is a perennial herbaceous flowering shrub or small tree in the Fabaceae family of pea plants. It is also known as the Fairy Duster.
It is a tropical plant from the Americas.
It grows to 1-6 metres (3-20 feet) tall. It has silky leaves. Its red, white, or pink flowers are cylindrical or globose.
