The New Zealand Cotoneaster (Corokia cotoneaster) is a flowering shrub in the Argophyllaceae family. 

It is native to New Zealand.

It grows to about 3 metres (10 feet) tall. It has a rough, dark-coloured bark with thin grey zig-zag twigs.

Each twig contains small white clusters. It has yellow star-shaped flowers and red fruit.

It blooms from December to January in the Southern Hemisphere.
