The Cumquat Tree (Citrus japonica) is a small, flowering, evergreen fruit tree in the Rutaceae family of citrus (orange, lemon, and lime) trees.

It is native to China.

The tree grows to 2.5 to 4.5 metres (8-15 feet) tall. 

It has dark, glossy green leaves. The cumquat fruit is the size of large olive. 

The flowers are small and white. It blooms in spring.
