Glossy-Leaf Paper Plant (Fatsia japonica) is an evergreen flowering shrub in the Araliaceae family.  It is also known as the Japanese Aralia.

It is native to Japan and Korea.

It grows to 1-5 metres (3-16 feet) tall. 

The leaves are arranged in spirals with eight leaf lobes. 

The Glossy-Leaf Paper Plant’s flowers are small and white. It has small, black fruit in spring.

It blooms in late autumn or early winter.
