The Garden Geranium (Pelargonium x hororum) is a hybrid flowering plant between the Zonal Geranium (Pelargonium zonale) and the Scarlet Geranium (Pelargonium inquinans) in the Geraniaceae family.

It is native to South Africa.

The plant grows to 25-30 centimetres (10-12 inches) tall.

It has large balls of tight flowers that have five petals of red, pink, or white. The “balls” are about 7 centimetres (3 inches) in diameter.

The Garden Geranium blooms for a long time, throughout summer.

Photographed in Paris in April 2021.
