The Red Flax (Linum grandiflorum) is an annual flowering herb plant in the Linaceae family of flax plants. It is also known as the Flowering Fax, the Crimson Flax, or the Scarlet Flax.

It is native to Algeria. 

It has short stems with flowers that have five red petals. Its long stamens have light blue pollen. 

It flowers in spring.
