The Eastern Gladiolus (Gladiolus communis) is a perennial, herbaceous flowering plant in the Iridaceae family. It is also known as the Common Corn-Flag.

It is native to north Africa, western Asia, southern Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Caucasus. 

The Eastern Gladiolus grows to 100 centimetres (39 inches) tall. 

It has linear leaves and bright pink flowers. It blooms in spring.
