The Yellow Asphodel (Asphodeine lutea) is a perennial herbaceous flowering plant in the Asphodeloideae family. It is also known as the King’s Spear.

It is native to south-eastern Europe, north Africa, and the Caucasus.

The Yellow Asphodel grows to about 100 centimetres (39 inches) tall. It has grey-green leaves with flower stalks bearing dense bright yellow flowers.
