The European Speedwell (Veronica beccabunga) is a succulent herb in the flowering Plantaginaceae family. It is also called Brooklime.

It is native to Europe, north Africa, and Asia.

It has spreading branches of reddish leaves with small, bright blue or pink flowers with four petals. 

The European Speedwell blooms in spring.
