The Marsh Fern (Thelypteris palustris) is a tropical deciduous plant in the Thelypteridaceae family of ferns. It is also known as the Common Lady-Fern.
It is found in North America and across Europe and Asia.
It is terrestrial, growing in the ground (not in trees or on rocks). It has creeping rhizomes and light-green fronds that are 15-60 centimetres (6-24 inches) long.
The Marsh Fern has small white and purple-blue flowers.
It blooms in spring.
