The Common Bugle Plant (Ajuga reptans) is a perennial herbaceous flowering plant in the Lamiaceae family of mint plants. It is also known as the Bugleweed or Carpetweed. 

It is common to North American and Europe.

It has a mass of purple flowers and dark green leaves wiht purple highlights. It is a spreading ground cover plant. 

It blooms in spring.
