The Strawberry Tree (Arbutus unedo) is a flowering plant in the Ericaceae family. It is not related to strawberry plants. It is also known as the Cane Apple Tree.
It is native to the Mediterranean and western Europe.
It grows to 5-10 metres (16-33 feet) tall. Its trunk is about 80 centimetres (31 inches) in diameter.
It has dark-green leaves and hermaphrodite white bell-shaped flowers .
The fruit is a red berry.
The Strawberry Tree blooms in spring.
