Common Cowslip

The Common Cowslip (Primula veris) is a herbaceous, evergreen, perennial flowering plant in the Primulaceae family of primroses. It is also known as the Cowslip Primrose.

It is found in Europe and western Asia.

The Common Cowslip grows to 25 centimetres (10 inches) tall with a rosette of leaves. It has bright yellow flowers.

The flowers bloom in spring.
