The Yellow Flag Iris (Iris pseudacorus) is a flowering herbaceous perennial plant in the Iridaceae family.

It is native to Europe, Asia, and northwest Africa.
It grows to 100-150 centimetres (39-59 inches) tall.
Its flowers are bright yellow, and about 10 centimetres (4 inches) across.
The fruit is a capsule about 7 centimetres (3 inches) long, containing pale-brown seeds.
The Yellow Flag Iris blooms in spring.
