The Purpletop Vervain (Verbena bonariensis) is a flowering herbaceous perennial plant in the Verbenaceae family. It is also known as the Clustertop Vervain and Pretty Verbena.

It is native to tropical South America, in countries from Colombia and Brazil to Argentina and Chile.
The Purpletop Vervain grows to about 180 centimetres (72 inches) tall. Its flowers are clustered in lavender to rose-purple blooms on top of a long stem.
It blooms from mid-summer.
