The Traveller’s Palm (Ravenala madagascariensis) is a flowering tree in the Strelitziaceae family.

It is native to tropical regions in Madagascar. 

The Traveller’s Palm grows to 30 metres (100 feet) tall. Its trunk is 60 centimetres (24 inches) thick. 

It has large paddle-shaped leaves displayed like a fan. It has large, white flowers that produce blue seeds.
