The Dahlia – ‘Bishop of Llandaff’ is a tuberous, herbaceous, perennial flowering plant in the Asteraceae family. It is in the group of Peony-Flowered Dahlias.

It grows to 100 centimetres (39 inches) tall.
The Dahlia – ‘Bishop of Llandaff ’ has dark purple foliage and large, bright red flowers. The flowers have three or four rows of rays that are flattened and arranged irregularly. The centre is a golden disc.
The flowers are about 15 centimetres (6 inches) in diameter.
It blooms from June to September in the Northern Hemisphere.
