The Climbing Aster (Ampelaster carolinianus) is a flowering plant in the Asteraceae family of daisies.
It is native to North America, particularly in North Carolina and South Carolina.
It is a climber.
The flowers are both ray florets and disc florets in pale pink to pale purple, with yellow centres.
