The Agave Leaved Sea Holly (Eryngium agavifolium) is a flowering plant in the Apiaceae family.

It is not a holly (genus Ilex).
It is native to South America.
The Agave Leaved Sea Holly has rosettes of shiny, spiny leaves, which grow to about 18 inches) long.
It has blue or white flowers.
It blooms in summer.
