The Persian Cornflower (Centaurea dealbata) is a perennial flowering plant in the Asteraceae family. It is also known as the Whitewash Cornflower.

It is native to the Caucasus Mountains and Turkey. 

The stems are 60 centimetres (24 inches) long. The undersides of the leaves are hairy.

It has an inflorescence of magenta florets with a cream-coloured base. 

It blooms in early summer.
