The Busy Lizzy (Impatiens walleriana) is a flowering, herbaceous, perennial plant in the Balsaminaceae family.  It is also known as Busy Lizzie, Patient Lucy, Impatiens, Sultana, and Balsam. 

It grows to 15-60 centimetres (6-24 inches) tall. 

It has broad green and sometimes spotted pink or reddish leaves on the underside. 

The flowers are small and profuse, about 2-5 centimetres (1-2 inches) in diameter with five petals. The lower sepals are slightly boat-shaped.
