The Ball Dahlia (Dahlia sp.) is a flowering, perennial, herbaceous, tuberous plant in the Asteraceae family.

It is native to Mexico and Central America.
It grows from 90-120 centimetres (36-48 inches) tall.
The flowerhead can be a variety of colours, but it is usually pink, red, and purple. It grows to 5-25 centimetres (2-10 inches) in diameter. It is a double, globe or ball-shaped flower with blunt petals. The face of the flower can also be slightly flattened.
The Ball Dahlia blooms in summer.
