The Fig Tree (Ficus carica) is a flowering, deciduous tree in the Moraceae family of mulberry trees.
It is native to Syria and Persia.
It grows to 450 centimetres (14-15 feet) tall and 300 centimetres (10 feet) wide.
The edible fruit appears in August and September in the Northern Hemisphere.
It has green flowers.
The Fig Tree blooms in March and April in the Northern Hemisphere.
