The Cirrhopetalum gagnepainii Orchid is a flowing, bulbous, hybrid plant in the Orchidaceae family of orchids. It is also classified as the Bulbophyllum flabellum-veneris.

It is native to China. It is epiphytic because it grows on host tree trunks.

The flower is on a long stem, of about 17 centimetres (7 inches). It is set in a semi-circular shape. The purple flower is miniature-sized, growing to 2-3 centimetres (an inch) in diameter.

It blooms in spring.

Photographed at the Orchid Exhibition, Paris Botanical Garden, France, March 2022.
