Jacob’s Rod (Asphodeline liburnica) is a flowering perennial plant in the Asphodelaceae family.

The Jacob’s Rod is an upright plant with narrow, triangular, grass-like blue-green leaves. 

It has a slender raceme of pale-yellow star-shaped flowers. They have green stripes on the backs of the petals.

It blooms in mid-summer.
