The Yerba Mansa (Anemopsis californica) is a flowering perennial herb in the Saururaceae family. It is also known as Apache Beads and Lizard Tail.

It is native to North America. It prefers wet marshlands and creek edges.
The leaves and stems develop red stains and eventually turns bright red in autumn.
The white, conical inflorescences are surrounded by 5-10 large white bracts and tiny white florets.
The conical structure develops into a single fruit with tiny pepper-like seeds.
The Yerba Mansa blooms in spring.
