The Cape Leadwort (Plumbago auriculata) is a flowering evergreen plant in the Plumbaginaceae family. It is also known as Cape Plumbago and Blue Plumbago. 

It is native to South Africa.

It is a climbing plant, growing to 600 centimetres (20 feet) tall and 300 centimetres (10 feet) wide. 

The leaves are ‘ear-shaped’ and glossy green.

It has pale blue, white, or violet flowers with five petals.

The Cape Leadwort blooms in summer.
