The Dahlia Deco Château de la Bourdaisière (Dahlia sp.) is a flowering tuberous, herbaceous perennial plant in the Asteraceae family. It is a bushy plant.

It is native to Mexico and Central America, but cultivated in France.

It grows to about 120 centimetres (48 inches) tall with dark stems.

It is a recent creation with large double ‘decorative’ salmon-pink to light-pink flowers. The flowers have wide and rounded petals arranged in a corolla of about 15 centimetres (5 inches) in diameter.

The Dahlia Deco Château de la Bourdaisière blooms from July to September in the Northern Hemisphere.

Photographed in the Château de Malmaison, Rueil-Malmaison, France, September 2022.
