Perennial Buckwheat

The Perennial Buckwheat (Fagopyrum dibotrys) is a flowering perennial plant in the Polygonaceae family. 

It is common across eastern Asia, particularly China, Japan, and the Himalayas.

It grows to about 100 centimetres (39 inches) tall by 200 metres (78 inches) wide.

The stems turn red in autumn.

It has clusters of lacy white flowers.

The Perennial Buckwheat blooms from July to October in the Northern Hemisphere.
