Hybrid Witch Hazel
The Hybrid Witch Hazel (Hamamelis x intermedia) is a flowering, deciduous plant in the Hamamelidaceae family. It is a hybrid between Hamamelis japonica and Hamamelis mollis.

It is a shrub growing to 4 metres (13 feet) tall and wide.
It has zig-zagging stems and simple leaves about 15 centimetres (6 inches) long. The leaves turn yellow in autumn.
The flowers are yellow, orange, or red with twisted petals. They appear on bare stems.
The Hybrid Witch Hazel blooms from mid-winter to early spring.
