Broccoli
Broccoli (Brassica oleracea) is a biennial, flowering plant in the Brassicaceae family of cabbages, kale, and Brussels sprouts.

It is native to Asia and the Mediterranean region.
It is a dark-green to light-green vegetable with large flowering heads, thick stalks, and small blue-grey leaves. Other varieties can be purple.
It grows to 46-76 centimetres (18-30 inches) tall and 30-61 centimetres (12-24 inches) wide.
The small flowers have yellow petals. The cluster of flowers is the head of the broccoli.
Broccoli blooms in summer.
