The Nepal Clematis (Clematis napaulensis) is a flowering plant in the Ranunculaceae family of buttercups.

It is native to countries in Asia, particularly Nepal and China.

It has scented, ‘nodding’ flowers up to 3 centimetres (one inch) across. The flowers are cream-coloured with several long stamens and deep-red anthers.

Photographed at the Paris Botanical Garden, France, March 2022.
